School uniforms are inherently submissive, forcing students to conform to a standardized dress, to submit to a certain set of rules, and to project a certain set of ideals. School acts as a way to mold the impressionable minds of the young people. This process can be beautiful or sinister, imposing restrictions, suppressing indi- viduality, and pushing students to become mind-less workers. Through thinking about these ideas and how uniforms affect the minds of students we created this collection.
