Collection no.3
Ants are ignorant little bugs that eat our crumbs, invade our homes, and annoy me. Ants walk around inside their nest or around their anthill reacting to the pheromones of their fellow ants. Hundreds of thousands of interactions between these simple creatures leads to astonishing feats, like gathering food, raising and domesticating fungus, and building complicated underground tunnel systems, they create consciousness. This is similar to us and how our brains work. Hundreds of thousands of neuron interactions are happening every second within our brains. These simple reactions come together to create something greater than the sum of its parts, our conscience. Does an anthill have thoughts like our brain?
